Fortress GB Smartcard
The Aecetia solutions for merchandise and refreshments are integrated with the
Fortress Smart Card solution. This has a number of benefits:

The customer scans their card and their membership details are recalled
from the database reducing data entry.

By scanning their card, purchases of both merchandise and refreshment are
linked to the customer so that their interests can be understood. This allows a
picture to be built up of customer behaviour patterns. Information sent to
customers can then be targeted to the individual customer’s interests.

Scanning the card allows the customer to receive any discounts that they may be
entitled to depending on their level of membership.

The Fortress GB e-purse can be made available for customers as an additional
payment option.
The kiosks that we use have integrated smart card scanners; this facilitates
their use and enables advantage to be taken of the benefits listed above.
