Our standard base system is made up of four core components.
Customer Management
Customer Management allows you easily find, manage and add customer information.
You can also view a customers purchasing history.
Order Management
Orders can be managed from the initial placing of the order, through payment
taking, fulfilment and despatch.
Automated email or text messages keep the customer aware of their order's
progress during the entire process.
Despatch
The despatch process is fully automated up to the actual point of picking. When
stock comes in on hold orders are automatically filled and forwarded to the
picking queue. Despatch barcodes are scanned and added to the order and the
customer automatically emailed or text messaged with the parcel number.
Stock Control
The stock control system is integrated with the order process so that incoming
stock is automatically assigned to on hold orders; these are then automatically
released for despatch.
The stock figures are constantly updated as goods are assigned to orders,
despatched and new stock arrives. This means that customers can be given
accurate information on availability.
Orders for in stock and out of stock items can also automatically be split or
not depending on the business policy and the customer’s preference.
These four elements comprise the main elements of order processing and so form
our base package. By default these elements support traditional mail order and
call centre order taking as well as customer services and order processing.
Our history in bespoke software development and systems integration means that
we are able to tailor our systems to match individual business requirements.
For example, although stock control comes as a standard part of the package, if
a customer already uses a stock control system that they wish to retain, we can
integrate the order processing system with this.
